The more I read this post the more it makes me want to open a goth site.
I've got some great idea's and the replies to this post have been helpful.
Now it's just finding the time to do it. I really wish there were more hours in a day.

Hmm not sure if I should jump in here, since I know absolutely nothing about goth or any other kind of bizarre sexual fetish.

A friend of mine runs http://www.bloodurge.com/ - probably not your average goth site, if it's even that. But it is extreme. And extreme sells.
The site is designed by a top adult designer which doesn't hurt conversions either - and no traffic leaks for Slavik to worry about ;)

AHAHAHAhahahha i've only just read this thread.. i can't believe somone's whining about having their logo font ripped off when it's the fucking buffy the vampire slayer logo font. christ. there are only a couple of fonts and certain terminology out there that suit goth stuff.. if you don't expect the text and terminology to look the same within a highly specialised aesthetically predetermined niche go hack yourself in the face with a chisel till you wake up.
In a small niche with a definate style you're going to get heaps of repetition.
