Bitcoin will crash the derivatives/futures markets
Bitcoin will be the cause of the next collapse.. 2008 on steroids.. That's my prediction.
Bitcoin futures trading gets the green light from US regulators - Business Insider Central banks will offer their "stable" version after most everyone is wiped out. Game over. What actually triggered the 2008 crisis was a move from 1 person. George Soros, the largest money market stake holder/investor at the time withdrew his entire market holdings in 1 day. That's all it took.

Derivatives/futures market is the same as the regular stock market. With derivatives you get extrinsic value for time and volatility. With futures you can trade around the clock. No doubt they will be shorting the shit out of cryptos just like with precious metals now that they have formed a base. The institutions/central banks have taken control just like all other markets. What happens with either will depend on what happens with the dollar.
