This post is me bitching about Sextronix -- a program that I want to love again. I have made decent money with them in the past, and they have always paid on time. So tonight I was going to dust off my links and start promoting them again. That is... until I looked closer at the shit they're pullin'.

Screenshots below.

1. ALL consoles automatically steal your surfer by overwriting your code -- EVEN if the console is not clicked. Bottom line... if the console pops, you are fucked. For example, they have a new Black Friday console that fucks you every single time. No mercy.
2. Even if you turn off consoles in your link they still pop fairly frequently (when the surfer backs out of the join page). It's nice that Sextronix allows you to disable consoles. But even when disabled, I still see them pop occasionally. About 1:25 or so?
3. There are serious leaks on the tours.
4. There are serious leaks on many of the join pages.
5. If a surfer follows one of the leaks, your code will be overwritten -- almost guaranteed.
6. Once Sextronix has overwritten your affiliate code, you're fucked. They DO NOT overwrite their own cookie. Only yours. So even if your surfer closes the tab, goes back to your site, and re-clicks your link... You're still fucked.
7. The "actionsignup" cookie is the one in question. (In case someone wants to research it themselves.)

As I said above... I want to like Sextronix. But after seeing this shit, I'll be avoiding them until they fix it. They promise "NO SHAVE" but based on these tests -- well, I'll let you be the judge.

No bullshit. Throw in their free Roku app and they are a whisper away from becoming the defacto Netflix of Porn.
   
   They are thinking long-term. They are focused on making members happy for years, not minutes.
   And if companies like Sextronix continue with this shifty bullshit, they will continue to lose affiliates -- and they will continue to disappear. Adapt of die, folks!

Last thought... Anyone want to wager how long it will take Sextronix to remove the cookie information from those join pages? If they are interested in transparency, and if they want to prove that they really are "NO SHAVE" they'll leave it there so we can check it anytime.

Old school sponsors of this kind were always shady. Running 100 cookie-cutter paysites means those sites can't be good quality and such a business is only a money generating tool designed to rip surfers off as much as possible.

You can only administrate a handful of sites, be dedicated to take care of their customers and do quality updates for them. I have seen member areas of so many old school sponsors I know what they are all like. They all suck.

I can’t say that a negative post is useful, but in your previous thread regarding us you questioned if we were still alive. A second thread with the floor as an opportunity to speak about our product only confirms that we are indeed, alive.



Right now we are in the midst of a large changeover, this changeover will apply to ALL of our sites and programs. During this time of change there are fixes that come along with all of it. This migration period may bring some bugs, our QA team is working hard to resolve them and we appreciate affiliate's cooperation if they discover any unusual behaviour that they notify us right away. We apologize for any inconvenience during this time as we are upgrading systems that we have been working with for 18 years.

On the positive side we have lots of exciting stuff underway - we will be making a public post once everything has been done.

1. This issue has been addressed - there is no over ride at all for any pops of any kind - this includes the promo pop you have shown on your screenshot.

2. We were unable to reproduce this issue, we have had several people test it - both in and out of the office. Without seeing it ourselves we are not able to address this concern further. - please message one of us directly on Skype.

3. This was related to affiliate ID overriding (please refer to point 1.) This issue has been resolved and there is no leak. Even if the surfer selects the bonus sites the affiliate ID will carry over and your commission will be assigned correctly.

4. We could not reproduce this one either. Other site thumbs on joins are always paid if the user joins from another site. Cookies are universal, however we will try to reproduce for all conditions and until then we switched off links on them.



5. Please refer to all the above points.

6. We are not overriding any affiliate ID or cookie which means the commission and surfer are yours.

7. As explained above - the cookie issue has been resolved.

I call bullshit. You may indeed be working on a complete overhaul. But I've been watching you do shit like this for years. That's why I pulled my links a long time ago. It has just gotten worse over time. And during my tests last night, it was obvious that one wrong move (or back button click) would result in having my cookie obliterated -- every. single. time.

Just finished a basic test. Holy fuck. Based on what I'm seeing, you guys are either wildly incompetent or blatantly lying to everyone reading this thread.

I just reproduced the console / cookie overwrite in 3 clicks. Happening exactly as detailed earlier. What would possess you to come in here claiming to have fixed it when it's so demonstrably NOT fixed?

You had several people test it!? Do they even know how to Internet? My screenshots above detail exactly how to reproduce it in 3 clicks. Actually, in this test with AllHotLesbians, the console pops 100% of the time when the back button is clicked. YMMV, but that's what I experienced in Chrome just now.

I didn't take time to screenshot it, but anyone can see for themselves. Here are the step-by-steps... (Note: affiliate code is not mine, and the single 5 in the URL is supposed to mean No Consoles.)

1. Go to Free Hardcore Lesbian Fucking Videos, Girl on Girl XXX Action Movies
2. Click through to any of the sites in the bottom bar -- for example, FreeTeenPassport.
3. You may or may not get the BlackFriday Console. If you do, don't click it. X it out instead. I *think* they fixed that particular console so that it doesn't automatically hijack your cookie, but I'm not sure yet.
4. Click "Create Free Account" button.
5. Scroll to the bottom and note that there is no cookie listed at the very bottom of the page, but the actionsignup cookie IS set in your browser.
6. Click the back button and watch for a console. That console overwrites your cookie every single time -- even if it's not clicked.
7. Even though we selected NO CONSOLES, we leaked through to a different site and now the consoles are active.
8. Once the console has popped, you can verify that the cookie has been changed by clicking the "Create Free Account" button again.
9. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you can see the cookie has been changed to 15673
10. And now that it's changed, it's permanent. Even if the surfer closes all of his tabs, and goes back to your site, and re-clicks any of your Sextronix links, it doesn't matter. That surfer now has the permanent 15673 cookie, and you're fucked.
11. Test it for yourself. It's obvious as can be.

Every time the surfer exits the join form? The only truly "Universal" cookie that I've seen is 15673. It nevvver gets overwritten. The only way to get rid of 15673 is to manually delete it in the browser.

* initial console pop, no click, no overwrite of affiliate ID
* initial console pop, click, overwrite of affiliate ID with 15673
* console pop after clicking back button on join page, no click, overwrite of affiliate ID with 15673
* there are lots of traffic leaks
* cross sales on the tours don't pass the affiliate ID
* once 15673 is set, it can't be overwritten with a click from an affiliate link

Some of them were the usual complaints - fake profiles, not enough girls - but I also got a couple complaining of being overcharged when they signed on so I dropped them. It's been years now.

program X pays $50 PPS, sent 10,000 clicks, get 3 sales: EPC $0.015
program Y pays $20 PPS, sent 10,000 clicks, get 8 sales: EPC $0.016
program Z pays $30 PPS, filled with traffic leaks, sent 10,000 clicks, get 8 sales: EPC $0.024

you would still be best of sending to program Z, despite the traffic leaks

the only thing that matters is EPC (or earnings per impression if it's banner traffic)
