Taylor just issued this statement, "I want to thank Judge William J. Martinez and the jury for their careful consideration ... [my attorneys] and anyone who feels silenced by a sexual assault, and especially anyone who offered their support through this four-year ordeal..."
Taylor went on, "I acknowledge the privilege that I benefit from in life, in society and in my ability to shoulder the enormous cost of defending myself in a trial like this. My hope is to help those whose voices should also be heard. Therefore, I will be making donations in the near future to multiple organizations that help sexual assault victims defend themselves."

Taylor Swift just got very important new fans ... and they just unanimously gave her a huge win in her butt groping trial.
The jury ruled David Mueller did indeed commit sexual assault by grabbing her butt at a meet and greet after a 2013 Denver concert. They gave her $1, which is what she was asking.
The jury also ruled Taylor's mother and staff did not intentionally interfere with Mueller's employment.
As we reported ... Tay filed her $1 countersuit against the former DJ on principal.
Taylor was in court to hear the verdict. She hugged her mom and her attorneys. As for her mom ... she cried.
Swift testified during the trial and was unmovable, calling BS on Mueller's claim that all he did was touch her rib cage. She says he latched on to her bare ass underneath her skirt.
Mueller had sued Swift for defamation, claiming her allegations cost him his job. The judge threw out his case against Taylor, Friday, saying he never proved during the trial she directly made him lose his job.

ahhh I´ve been waiting to hear this, thank you Dynasty...

although I´m very behind her, asking for only a small amount, more so just for prosecution & to help charities and organisations, I think remarkable.

Although, i´m still a bit bewildered how she didn´t speak up or slap the guy at the time. With all respect, my partner and I have spoke about this a few times when the subject has come up & every time we´ve both agreed, it´s pretty obvious he´s pinching her bum and if she felt awkward as many people would, I´d have looked and said, oi, get your hand off my ass you fuck head...

I understand papers and cameras were there but this is the point. People need to just speak up and save later problems, this has all been further paper material and caused more of a stir.

She didn't sue him first. She did speak up when it happened. She told her mom and security guy after it happened and the guy was kicked out of the venue. He was then fired and sued her. She didn't file suit against him until he had already sued her saying she destroyed his career.

I agree, people should speak up at the moment it happens, but often they don't. My GF is a dentist and has had a few patients grab her ass. The first couple of times it happened she was so shocked it happened she didn't know what to do and just left the room or continued on like nothing happened. The third time it happened she said something and called the patient out.

I can see how she could have easily gotten into "professional mode" and didn't want to cause a scene so instead, she told others after the fact.

good for your partner, and staying professional is always important too. Amazing to hear this story, wondering how many people abuse the power of the job as a professional or like your girlfriend, the patient abusing their position. I´ve not had many problems like this in a normal day to day life but always hope to speak out.

The guy that she called out tried to make the excuse that he accidentally did it because he was under the influence of the gas. Had his hand brushed against her or bumped into her, you could dismiss it as an accident. When you read the facts of the case there is no way this is a publicity stunt.

He got off very easy. She could have called the police on him (no telling what may have come from that), and she could have countersued for millions. If she won millions she could ruin the rest of his life trying to collect it, if she wanted.
