What's is an acceptable page size on a front splash page?
What's is an acceptable page size on a front splash page?
I'm building a new movie site and was wondering what I should keep the page size down to? It will be scrollable, with pictures and text. I'm from the old school classic tours all graphics and now I'm changing it up! Any ideas or thoughts welcomed!

Depends on the site I guess but my experience has been that 120k is the absolute maximum my surfers will put up with. Over that and only a handful seem to make it to the next page. Nowadays I try for 50k to 75k.
