Suggestions for remote backup service for our server
Hi
our host (amerinoc) has discontinued their remote server backup service apparently they don't offer a backup service anymore. we have a few TB to keep safe. I'm ok to hire someone for a one-time job -- or possibly for more work after this. anyone interested? (pls cc info to [email protected] )

I was looking for something similar. My servers are backed up but I need to do the same for my desktop externals.
Drop box is an option but a bit expensive

In case of S3 all you need to do is install a software that will mount your S3 bucket to a folder on your system, for eg: /backup and then just make rsync at some time to copy sync your folders with backup and make the db backups to backup folder and you're done. They charge based on usage (typically 3cents per GB/month). Then there are also dedicated tools that will backup whole servers but that's another story and these will cost a lot more... Depends on what do you want to backup and how secure does it has to be... Dropbox is the best option and it's way much better than Google Drive for example. If you don't want to pay it year after a year you can just get an external drive and backup what you need every now and then.

You could easily pick up a small box somewhere, at any host, and install something like BackupPC BackupPC: Open Source Backup to disk
It will create snapshots of your remote servers, and provide incremental backups. And it's really quite nice once you get it going. So, a cheap box somewhere with 2 or 4TB drives might cost $100 -- give or take a few dollars -- and you can back up whatever you like. If you look around, you can probably get a small box with dual HDD in a RAID1 mirror as well for the same price. WebhostingTalk is usually full of offers.
