Salt-less meals?
I'm getting surgery done on Tuesday (going from D to C-cup) and won't be able to consume more than 100mg of salt a day for about 6 weeks.
Anyone know any good meals that have no salt (or a really small amount?) |

Are you sure they said 100mg? That's extremely low even for a typical low sodium diet.

The nurse originally told me no salt. However, the doctor said that I *could* have up to 100mg/daily if I wanted to but no more than that. |

doctors operate on people all the time on short notice, and most people in North America are full of salt cuz junk food is all high in sodium, i don't understand why they are making such a big deal about it with you. Do you have some kind of pre-existing medical thing that makes having sodium in your body more of a risk for surgery?

The reason why I should not eat salt for about 6 weeks after surgery is that salt leads to fluid buildup which leads to swelling which is something I have to avoid. The swelling could screw up the healing process. |
