Salt-less meals?

I'm getting surgery done on Tuesday (going from D to C-cup) and won't be able to consume more than 100mg of salt a day for about 6 weeks.

Anyone know any good meals that have no salt (or a really small amount?)

Are you sure they said 100mg? That's extremely low even for a typical low sodium diet.

I'm sure. Salt leads to water build-up.

The nurse originally told me no salt. However, the doctor said that I *could* have up to 100mg/daily if I wanted to but no more than that.

doctors operate on people all the time on short notice, and most people in North America are full of salt cuz junk food is all high in sodium, i don't understand why they are making such a big deal about it with you. Do you have some kind of pre-existing medical thing that makes having sodium in your body more of a risk for surgery?

I deleted my posts ...
Surgery is no laughing matter, best of luck to you. :)

Doesn't matter about my salt-intake before surgery.

The reason why I should not eat salt for about 6 weeks after surgery is that salt leads to fluid buildup which leads to swelling which is something I have to avoid. The swelling could screw up the healing process.
