Photoshop gurus: L@@k here!
I just purchased a new Samsung LCD, and whenever I open any Photoshop file, the colors appear over-saturated and dark.
Click here to see a screenshot of what I mean. However, if I choose the "Save For Web" option, then the layout is normal and saves in the normal colors. Is this something with my LCD? Or is it an option that needs to be fixed in Photoshop. Much thanks. ![]() |

Reinstall the OS. That should fix it.
Actually I don't know. The same thing happens to a guys LCD at work. He is the only guy with an LCD, and his monitor always looks dark but when he saves for web his designs look fine.

After some Google searching, I fixed the problem.
RedShoe, you may want to bring this news to your co-worker. This is what I did in Photoshop 7: Edit > Color Settings > Under 'Working Spaces' / RGB, I chose "Monitor RGB - Samsung ICM Profile" and clicked OK. |
