How many of you are using quicktime videos on your site and don't you feel it's a far better format than Windows Media? I'm a mac user so editing WMV is virtually non existent on my machine and that doesn't bother me at all, many people don't realize that Quicktime is a free download for PC users as well and you can break the cycle of shitty Microsuck software at the same time. So do you put Quicktime movie files on your sites as well?

We only use Quicktime on our main site and have had nothing but positive feedback. On the other sites that have multiple formats, people get confused and ask for help, but Quicktime seems to work for everyone.

One thing that bothers me about quicktime, is that when you install it, you can't play mpg in windows media player off the web anymore...

It pisses me off so much.....

But the quality of the video is good for sure.

Why would you want to play an mpeg in windows media once you have quicktime installed anyway?

As far as video sites go I'm of the opinion that if the video is hot enough the users will be willing to download quicktime if they don't have it so that they can view the video.

Surfers are lazy... We actually offer 3 different format.

And I want to play mpgs in windows media player cause I hate when quicktime plays the movies in a browser...

Anyone looking for porn will download Satan's personal video codec just to see some poosaay. How many people have that damn Vivo codec on their computer. That tells you something right there. So to say people would rather use QT is insane. Stop trying to be difficult and just use WMV damnit. The people with the letterman jacket got more ass in school than the loner.
