Quicktime do you use it?
 

How many of you are using quicktime videos on your site and don't you feel it's a far better format than Windows Media? I'm a mac user so editing WMV is virtually non existent on my machine and that doesn't bother me at all, many people don't realize that Quicktime is a free download for PC users as well and you can break the cycle of shitty Microsuck software at the same time. So do you put Quicktime movie files on your sites as well?

Fuck Quicktime. Why would I use it when 95% of the surfers would rather use Windows, Real or plain Mpeg?:ak47:

We only use Quicktime on our main site and have had nothing but positive feedback. On the other sites that have multiple formats, people get confused and ask for help, but Quicktime seems to work for everyone.

quicktime is the best MPEG player there is.

One thing that bothers me about quicktime, is that when you install it, you can't play mpg in windows media player off the web anymore...

Why would you want to play an mpeg in windows media once you have quicktime installed anyway?

As far as video sites go I'm of the opinion that if the video is hot enough the users will be willing to download quicktime if they don't have it so that they can view the video.
