If you live there please please find me a boat ramp to the intercoastal that is like 200 feet wide and free of bystanders so I can back my boat up without killing anyone. I hear the waterways and canals there are great for boating, you can boat up to a restraunt, etc, neat shit like that. I'm only a hour from Tampa so I figured once I get the fresh water boating downpat I will venture into the ocean from Tampa. hmmmmm, Maybe a Tampa webmasters boating excursion?? People who do not live here in Florida are missing so much, you have no idea how much there is to do here. Many people consider Florida to be the same as California but without the ego. It is much more than that. If you party there is plenty of places to go, if you are a family person like me there is so much to do it is not even funny. Yes we do the tourists things but unlike them when we go to say Universal Studios, we go to a park for like 3 or 4 hours, myabe do 2 or 3 rides. No rush, we actually relax while watching all the tourists trying to jam in every single thing they can. After the park we catch a great dinner at one of the themed restraunts (Nascar cafe has the best damned pork chops) then watch a movie at the city walk. And it's cheap, when you live here you can get year passes very cheap. And you learn the best times to go, when there are no lines. LOL

I moved from LA in '94. Takes a month or two to adjust and get over the LA energy/lifestyle and adjust to Florida's. The climate adjustment took about 6 months. Got rid of my allergies too quick from all that shitty smog air in LA.

Tell you one thing you can make real long term friendships down here and its not like LA where friends are more the plastic type and come and go like the wind.

The girls are just as hot as LA and more fun and easygoing. LA girls are always looking for what you can do for their careers and stuff.
