I use microsoft money.

It is a lot simpler than Sage, and you can download and import your Visa and bank statements.

My accountant recommened Quick Books Pro.

Either way... most accounting progs are a bastard to learn.


How complicated are your books?

If it's straight forward receipts, invoices and no staff management shit, then an excel spreadsheet with relevant columns is the easiest and cheapest solution.

yeh someone just recommended that to me. ive only got a (very busy) paypal account, my business account, and expenditures and income to gather..
