My Ibill rep. was also fired :((
I learnt that our Ibill sales rep. was among those 40 fired last week because Ibill is leaving the adult sector...
For privacy concerns I won't say the name, but (s)he was the best and fastest contact person I've seen so far in this sector... Now I wouldn't hesitate to leave IBill... Anyway Ibill may freeze adult accounts suddenly, this wouldn't be surprising.. |

Our rep left iBill recently as well. However, I really doubt iBill is leaving the adult industry. If they were leaving they wouldn't be doing certain things that they seem to be doing.
Also, it doesn't make sense that they would freeze accounts suddenly. A significant portion of iBill's business is adult based. Even if they were to stop processing adult today, they would still get chargebacks against former adult transactions for the last 6 months. If they severely cut their revenue but leave their chargeback liability the same, they're chargeback percentages are going to shoot through the roof. Better to phase out adult processing gradually over time.

Having spoken with someone at IBill that would know at least the immediate future plans, I can say with some certainty that IBill won't be leaving adult.
However, in order to survive what I think will be a restructuring in adult, they will need to make some tough decisions that will involve getting rid of the deadwood and the overly risky accounts so that they can go forward. |

If they get rid of free trials ( or equivalent promoted low priced trials) , it would be a first step...
Meanwhile, they keep my money since dec 15th ... Their CMI use to show no checks, now it shows check issued, but who the fuck to?? Not me ... |

it doesn't make sense to do the CMI revshare consolidation if they were going to leave the adult business now would it?

I think I wrote more than I meant. Actually I didn't mean Ibill will be leaving the adult sector totally. From previous GFY posts and Inttercept news on several financial sites, I understand that adult biz is too risky for Ibill and I guess they will be cancelling many accounts.

Greg May still around? He treated me very well when I was with them. Left a while ago though.

If you stay with ibill now, then when your account gets closed don't come whining then. With their complete lack of respect for their users (by not giving us any info as to whets going on), and their recent layoffs, and other dubious operations, I would have to put ibill into the poop category of processors to use list
