Rolling Stones: 40 Licks

Anybody have this? Does it kick ass? I like all their old stuff, would I like this CD?

My mother told me a friend of hers saw them in concert in New York a few months back and they ROCKED. According to her friend, they have all the juice they had 40 years ago and still put on an amazing rock-n-roll show. I hope I catch them coming through Cleveland, soon.

I saw the stones live a couple times in the last 10 or 15 years and they are still ROCKING. Hard to believe, but Mick's still got it.

Speaking of old bags that still have it: Neil Young and Crazy Horse are touring now. They kick ASS.

Yeah? Man, I'm going to have to check Ticketmaster. Have you listened to 40 Licks? Is it chock-full-o-goodness?

As do I.
But you can go there, and grab a listen in the mean time.
Personally speaking, I no longer buy CD's unless I've heard them first.
Grew tired long ago of the 1-2 good songs, and 10 filler tracks.

I don't have 40 licks... it looks solid. But, I think you lose out when you get the great hits albums...

As far as I'm concerned, all of 'Let It Bleed' should be on there.

Yes, that's an awesome tune. I think I am going to have to buy this.

X3guide - I can always get the other albums AND 40 Licks

Funny, my copy opens up with Steet Fighting Man!

It's a great (double) CD from one of the best rock bands of all time.

Great song.

I saw the Stones a few years back. They were awesome. I missed them this year because I was in Vegas for Internext.
