Rolling Stones: 40 Licks
Anybody have this? Does it kick ass? I like all their old stuff, would I like this CD?
My mother told me a friend of hers saw them in concert in New York a few months back and they ROCKED. According to her friend, they have all the juice they had 40 years ago and still put on an amazing rock-n-roll show. I hope I catch them coming through Cleveland, soon. SpaceAce |

I saw the stones live a couple times in the last 10 or 15 years and they are still ROCKING. Hard to believe, but Mick's still got it.
Speaking of old bags that still have it: Neil Young and Crazy Horse are touring now. They kick ASS. |

But you can go there, and grab a listen in the mean time. Personally speaking, I no longer buy CD's unless I've heard them first. Grew tired long ago of the 1-2 good songs, and 10 filler tracks. |
I don't have 40 licks... it looks solid. But, I think you lose out when you get the great hits albums...
As far as I'm concerned, all of 'Let It Bleed' should be on there. |
40 Licks opens up with Gimme Shelter, one of my fav Stones songs and it keeps on rockin. Its a great set.

i'd suggest getting all the remastered classics before 40 licks.. loads of awesome tracks omitted from it obviously

I saw the Stones a few years back. They were awesome. I missed them this year because I was in Vegas for Internext. |
