Running more than one icq instance at ones
I used to have this software micq or someting which let me do it...
Don't have it anymore and i don't think that it's working for the new icq vesrions. How can i run more than one icq instance at ones ? Thanks. |

I don't know for sure about Trillian, but the Mac OS X equivalent, Proteus, can do multiple instances of the same chat network. I have two of each running all the time.

You do realize that it is not a problem having a number of dialog boxes open at the same time, with ICQ.
As far as Trillian, I installed it - and then I uninstalled it about 10 minutes later.

Trillian rocks! the only reason I don't use it is that it doesn't import my icq contact list from icq servers...

Trillians great once its all setup, just gotta find a good skin for it and get all your contacts from icq added manually.. other than that its no hassle

You can add multiple ICQ numbers to trillian at once, they all have to currently share a master contact list but you can be logged in as 10 different profiles at once. Been using Trillian for a long time now, it's great.
