Stick with it until episode 4...either you will want to watch the rest without stopping, or it's not for you. It's a slow burner, but gets better as it goes in the best way possible.

You actually feel bad for Pablo Escobar by the end of the season.

Both are excellent and worth watching.

Any recommendations on other new shows besides The Strain?

I imagine this will focus on the cali cartel and the events post Pablo. I really hope we get some of the same cast back. The first 2 seasons were awesome.

Narcos 2nd season is better than 1st. Great.

Stranger things - you will be hooked for the first 2-3 episodes and everything will be clear after those. Literally you will be knowing what is up after those and then you will only be watching various characters finding it out one by one. That is very strangely constructed scenario - spills almost all beans in 3 episodes and drags with almost nothing during the last 7 (or whatever). And only last 3 minutes of the last episode gives something new.

Hey, and on top of that some teenage love drama...
