Certified Hosting -anyone else have issues when you leave them?

I am moving hosting companies so am trying to migrate 500Gb of data from one company to another.

I have heard and know of at least one other person close to me who had real issues with Certified when they were moving away from them a few months back.
I had stood by them, good fast support, I always paid on time for 5 years, maybe I did pay over the odds but now I want something else they can't match in price, I am moving.

I am now experiencing multiple delaying tactics, my new hosting company have even suggested I never had a dedicated server as I had no root access when they asked Certified for it.

I am far from technical in these matters which is why I pay these companies, of course: All I fucking want is for my data to be seamlessly transferred from one server to another.

Why is it so fucking hard?

Now paying a specialist cpanel company 24x7servers to help with the migration because Certified are dicking around webhost Pro - so they suggested 24x7servers help and will fund me the cost of their services (35 Dollars so far)

WTF is going on?
I have other personal issues to deal at home (death in family) and now I have this BS to contend with and can not update the sites while data is trying to be migrated across.
Paying extra, losing custom, and I have a whole load of pissed off members who have lost access and am trying to re add at ccbill for cgi-bin passfiles - with Strongbox and trying to check if their IPs are blocked there, very time consuming and with migration unsure if this will last long and do it all over again later... sorry to rant, just felt like letting off steam here.

FUCK FUCK FUCK.... FUCKERS FUCK!

Damn that sucks. Moving hosting companies is never fun, even when it all goes smooth. Let alone when getting dicked around.

Hope things get resolved for you soon.

The best way to move host is to do it yourself and to not involve the host.

Cancel your hosting only once everything is 100% transferred (and 100% tested!). You'll be be sure your host won't be able to ransom your data.

It's already posted on a public message board.
