just checked my stats and I got a bunch of referring hits from here
http://www.robzombie.com/pictures/rob/ap-biorob.jpg What the hell is that about? How can you get referring hits from an image? |

If that was open in a window, and someone does a popup with the same name or using one of the under type windows it will fuck up the Referal URl that is displayed. When I closely looked at my stats in the past it was full of stuff like that, including username/password combos to paysites and more.

There are programs to spoof the referral URL. A lot of people were getting Shonen Knife as a referrer for a while, I think.

Also, with Opera (at least the last version I used), you could put whatever you wanted as the referal URL.
