I have to amend this, but it is too late to edit it. It was Rob I was thinking about who said he thought everyone should be armed.

I sure did. This is guerrilla warfare and civilians all over the world are the targets. It's a war with a creepy potential woman president who is saying we don't want our army, civilians, to have the opportunity to protect themselves. People need to carry weapons. That is the reality of it.

I still cannot figure out how an entire night club couldn't take down one shooter regardless if nobody had guns though. Grimmie's brother Mark leaped over the autograph table and tackled the shooter immediately. That guy could have killed 20 people or so.

even if there were evidence that more guns would work and corresponding laws changed to do that, i doubt there'd ever been a USA where guns are allowed in nightclubs like that.

Not to mention the potential chaos of a nightclub full of people scared shitless and shooting their guns.

In theory this is 100% correct. In practice, when the shit hits the fan most people panic and run. When it comes to fight or flight, most choose flight. When you are in a nightclub full of people and chaos erupts as a guy opens fire, it could be easy to get lost in the scramble. Even if there is a person or persons there that would be willing to attack the attacker, they may never be able to find them. If they were armed would that help? Possibly, but here is the bigger problem with that. How do we tell the difference between a responsible, trained and quality person who will use their gun only to defend themselves or others from an attack and a thug who will shoot someone for no real reason?

If I knew many people were armed at a nightclub, I would stay the hell away from there.

There's plenty of stories of gun-wielding individuals stopping or killing potential / or actual violent crimes, they're just not covered by mainstream media because they go against the agenda of the state (making it harder to own weapons, goes against their narrative).

I agree that the police in our society work very well. I am just saying that while this person makes a good point that sometimes people, average everyday people, have to step up and use for to stop bad guys, there needs to be some kind of limit to it. I don't want to go to a crowded place where most of the people are armed because they are worried for their own safety. That would leave me worrying about my safety with all of these idiots packing heat, afraid, and ready to open fire.

Of course there are stories like this. Just like there are as many, if not more stories of innocent people accidentally being injured or killed by guns because the owners don't know what the fuck they are doing with them. There are about 1,500 children under the age of 14 killed every year from gun violence. Of those about 40% of them are from suicide or accidental shooting. That means about 600 kids every year either use a gun to kill themselves or they are accidentally killed by a guy. 1.6 kids every day. We don't hear much about that in the news either.

You can say it is political or whatever, but the reality is in most states anyone who wants one can go get a conceal carry permit. Those who have them and feel like they are capable of using their gun properly can do so, there is nothing stopping them. I don't have a problem with those people. I do have a problem with just letting anyone, without any kind of class, background check or training just holstering up a gun and heading out to protect society.

If 10 people were carrying guns at the gay club the ISIS dude dies before 50+ people are killed. Glad I dont live in that shithole anymore.
