I think so, was their site basically a place to pay your tickets online?

Caught it for my first time ever about a month and a half ago.

It's funny how these guys come up with what is a good idea that may work sometime in the near future but not then...anyway...it's funny to watch them just hemorrage money going flat broke before they even go live.

I started in porn almost 2 years ago, went full time immediately...I've always made a profit...and was able to pay my bills...and I'm a fuckwit compared to some of the people they had working for them.

No way you made money in porn the whole time. Just ask GFY, they will tell you that it's truly impossible. Also you only have a chance with a paysite if you have 40k or so to invest off the bat.

LOL I should rephrase that...I wont' say I made a profit from day 1, but let's just say I've been able to pay my bills since the first month I started in this biz and have a made a profit along the way...and I was doing stupid things right off the bat.

I went out and got a dedicated server and wasn't even using half the bw I could, I bought the best X3 Traffic Trader script for my tgp, and their basic tgp submission script...I made it real tough on myself and could have very well bitten off way more than I could chew...but I quickly rethought my position, changed a few things and I am here where I am now...not necessarily where I want to be but hopefully on my way.

24 hour party people.

Same concept, but revolved around the punk scene of early 80's, late 70's.

I've seen it on cable about 3 or 4 times. Great movie. Besides the fact that it chronicles the internet 'bubble burst', I really like the story of the longtime friends and how things change because of business. Kinda sad really.

It's funny how just some people could see that the bubble were coming.

When I buy a DVD player I'll rent this DVD, heh.

I moved to Silicon Valley in 94 to start a dot.com (ISDN and Frame Relay provider) and was there just as Netscape was about to go public. When I moved up to Vancouver, I worked for a fledgling dot.com investment site that rode the wave and went public with no real solid business plan and ended up bringing in millions and opening up offices all over the place and hiring hundreds...only to see everything fall to pieces like the rest. It was a fun ride to be part of.

yeah those "Sand Hill Rd." guys like Kleiner Perkins et al. - boy did they pull a number on everyone. I read in Fortune recently that a few of the VC funds actually have had to disband and give back investors their money as they couldn't find suitable investments any longer in start-ups and they felt so guilty about pissing away all the rest of the money on vapor companies in previous years.

yeah I'll bet there were loads of VC's sprouting up like weeds in Austin over the past decade looking to incubate the next lead balloon.
