I moved to Silicon Valley in 94 to start a dot.com (ISDN and Frame Relay provider) and was there just as Netscape was about to go public. When I moved up to Vancouver, I worked for a fledgling dot.com investment site that rode the wave and went public with no real solid business plan and ended up bringing in millions and opening up offices all over the place and hiring hundreds...only to see everything fall to pieces like the rest. It was a fun ride to be part of.
