I was going to upload old public domain expired copyright films and movies
Some of those idiots are getting a lot of views doing that, but
BAM they ALL either get rejected OR you can't use hardly ANY of the audio

What I did was I used winHTTrack to download a website full of the torrent files, then I was going to download all of the lowest quality versions (950 of them) so I could get them all uploaded and downloaded very quickly

Then I was going to determine which ones were the most popular and without copyright restrictions/issues and re-upload whichever those were in higher quality

But then the 20 or so test files I uploaded (highest quality I could find) all had huge issues and I think if I do the other 900+ my account will just get banned

So back to the drawing board for youtube

That said, if someone knew a bit more than I do about proxies and VPNs, and bought some accounts from bhw, you could probably mass upload to junk accounts to test files through the bot
It could probably still work but I don't think it's worth the work
They get a lot of views but ONLY if they have a LOT of those old films
They're not popular or high traffic or anything like that

Just turn on a web cam and do stupid shit for 3 minutes and upload it.
You only make about .85 cent per 1000 views anyway.
So 100k views is usually less than $100.
Good luck getting 10k views on a video.

Maybe there is a "break point" where the video starts to go viral and the ad rates increase and you make good money; but if not, then it's chump change.

You should be north of $2 cpm with regular overlay ads
The video ads, if you can get them to play on your channel, its fucking sick - $15-$35CPM!!

I have an account with loads of videos over 10k, one has 1,188,780 views at the moment. unfortunately, its not a monetised account as its clips from films and that sort of thing. It just has links to my sites in the descriptions.

Make the video again but with the pitch +1 then test, then -1 and test, then +2 and test until you can get your video posted without the audio being removed and with minimal altering of the original...
(In a video editor, ofc..)

Yes, almost all of them had audio copyright claims (several had 5+) and some had huge blocks of the visual content it flagged
I coverted most of them before upload but I didn't do any time shifts or anything

Don't ever count on any TV show or movie being "public domain".
Somebody can still figure a way to buy the broadcast rights to a lot of stuff.

Their copyright system is shady. I even got a copyright claim on one video that was up for over a year and had music provided from the royalty free music section that they provide. Of course since the video had been up for over a year they wouldn't let me edit the music out anymore. Lesson learned: don't use shit from their royalty free music section.

the one million views upload has been up for two years, its was one of the first uploaded, so most are younger than that.

some of the others are, a 5 month old clip on 11,000 views, a 11 month old clip on
69,000 views and a year old one on 422,000 views.
There's only 25 clips up on this account, mainly because I keep forgetting about it.

it probably is but the main reason I made the account in the fist place was more for having some good social media backlinks.

I don't think I have any vids worthy of going viral, even with a lot of help.

Only thing I've got up on youtube is concert footage from the front row. They let it ride and don't delete it but the record labels claim the ads on the videos which is fine as didn't do it for money and still a link to my own mainstream site in the description.

And most vids, unless you are featured, have a slow road to even 10k.

You are looking at it wrong. Don't focus on getting 100k to one vid. Do new vids each day and you will gain enough subs to get 10k views per vid per day in a reasonable amount of time. Once you get to 20k subs, it sort of snowballs and you will be at 40k in half the time unless you get lucky.

Tip: Get a domain for your Youtube home page, Watermark every video with your domain, Put a text link to your domain in every videos description box, When you get banned and Youtube locks you out of your account you will still get traffic to your domain that you can send to your new Youtube home page.
