How long to wait for DNS changes
I have a new server and changed the DNS on a few domains a few days ago. The changes showed up in the whois database in yesterday morning?s update at about 05:50 EST.
In my experience, once the changes show up in the whois database, traffic starts going to the new server within a few hours. But it is now 30 hours and still no traffic to the new server. I am getting anxious since I have never had to wait more than a few hours to see traffic. Has anyone experienced this before? What is longest period you have had to wait for traffic after the changes show up in the whois database? |

i've seen it take up to 72 hours to fully update, but you might want to double check those dns designations.
