A couple errant bombs out of the thousands dropped aren't going to make a difference in the overall war.
As someone said in another thread, if the Iraqis feel safe enough to be shopping in a market during the bombings, it shows they know the civillians aren't being targeted and know how fucking accurate the bombs are.

After Gulf War I, Baghdad estimated 40, 000 civilians dead. US estimated 2500 or so. Either way. Hell of a difference .. so far.

On August 6, 1945 the United States dropped "Little Boy" on Hiroshima Japan. The U-235 in the warhead was about the size of a baseball. It detonated at an altitude of 1,800 ft, which was the height calculated to cause the greatest amount of radiation spread and shockwave force. The explosive force was equal to 40 Million pounds of TNT.

About 130,000 Japanese civilians were vaporized instantly. By the time we were done bombing other parts of Japan, 22 Million Japanese were homeless.

So crying over 20 dead Iraqi's isn't even pocket change in comparison to other devastion we've unleashed on our enemies in our history.

The US doesn't fuck around when it comes to warfare. And sometimes collateral damage occurs intentionally or unintentionally. But that is the price of war and playing fucking games with the United States of America.

If he was a little smart, seeing how france and russia were against this war; he would have played the UN a little more and could have milked the UN inspections for a few more week into the summer, therefore rendering any war plan obsolote until next winter.
obviously he is not too smart. He does not care about his people. He'd rather have a few hundred thousand of his people die rather than run with his few hundred millions of dollars stashed away.
The reason for this war may not be very clear, and is most likely something we will never know.

It is quite clear that this war is not entirely for the US and UK to take over france's oil contracts; otherwise the US and Uk would go to war against all oil countries which have contracts with france and germany.
It is quite clear that this war is not entirely for iraq's refusal to obey Un resolutions, otherwise the US and UK would go to war against all countries which do not respect UN resolutions.
It is quite clear that this war is not entirely because of iraq's harboring terrorist organisation, otherwise the US and UK should immediaely attack syria, lybia, iran, north korea, sudan and somalia.
It is quite clear that this war is not entirely for iraq's involvement in the 9/11 tragedy as there are no clear proofs they were involved.
This war may be a combination of all the above reason plus another one that will never be known.
Loss of innocent life is tragic, however; it is saddam hussein who is putting his population through this.
he's held power for almost 30 years now, he has accumulated almost 2 billions dollars. If he truely cared for his people he would be gone by now.
This is not a black and white thing here, we are in the mist of the gray.

Israel is not a danger to the region, it only defends itself from hostile neighbors.

srael initiated the 6 days war only after its "peaceful" arab neighbors were about to attack.

Israel initiated the lebanon war only after repeated attacks from palestinians terrorists operating freely in lebanon.

Israel initiated the swift and tough response to intifada 2 only after the palestinians; 1/ refused the "INCREDIBLE" offer made to them by then Israeli Prime Minister Barak 2/ started to an incredibly violent terrorist campaign agaisnt Israeli civilians.

Also remember that the 12 years that iraq has been toying with the UN are due to iraq invading kuwait and agreeing to UN inspection as part of a cease fire.

As far as I am concerned iraq could have invaded kuwait and taken it over, it would not have been a big loss!

It looks like you are not very bright...the battle has not started yet and will not take place until our troops are in place to begin the battle for Baghdad. Everything else has been skirmishes not deserving of being called a battle.

The British Warplanes have been bombing some Presidential Palace all night, how could they have been in 2 places at once?
