beeing from the USA, and the west on top of that you maybe dont know there are french people in Canada... I shit u not... right accrosse the street from ottawa.... it's frenchland... bars where you have to be 18, beer in the corner store (not like the rest of canada)... etc. etc. ![]() |

There is a back door route to getting into Waterloo. (It worked for me anyway)
If you enter as a mature student, your entrance is based entirely on a casual interview and attitude. Since you don't need to enter directly into a degree program, just choose courses that will apply later, and you're all set. |

i went to waterloo and its a good place. kinda stiff and boring. No women and NOT cheap.

Go to BCIT. Get the Bachelors of technology. Its 10x better than the degrees you get from SFU or UBC. That is if you want to get a job eventually. |

If you want quebec, only 3 english universities:
McGill in montreal Concordia also in montreal and Bishop University in Lennoxville, really nice and small university, really cool atmosphere, but not the best academically I think.
