:mad Got screwed $400, how do I chargeback on PayPal?

Alright heres the problem, I paid $400 for webhosting via PayPal, the company took the money and then they dissappeared, the site actually went offline and they didnt answer the phone when I called, nor have they answered numerous emails I have sent...

How do I do a "reversal" with PayPal to see if I can get my money back? Can someone let me know!!

send a trouble ticket thru their system and report the fraud. they should get it back to you in a few weeks.

paypal is probably the worst type of transaction to use when theres a chance of fraud... they are pretty hard to get money out of, and... if the guys who burned you don't have the money sitting in their own Paypal account anymore (and most scam-artists don't leave it there long), your shit outta luck..

Sorry but you are wrong there. I had someone chargeback a large purchase from ebay once and it put my account in the negative.

really? huh. the one time i tried to charge something back Paypal told me that i couldn't because their account was empty, and it was within the 30-day period... weird, perhaps it has to do w/ where the person being chargedback against resides, not sure..
