Myles, back in June 2002 I contacted jason[a]cologroup.com about hosting a dedicated Redhat box with cologroup.com. After investigating several references (which all proved positive) I ordered a Cologroup box from Jason. But after one month of promises and excuses, you and your Redhat guru (despite "doing your best") proved incapable of performing a basic Redhat install.

Then following your bizarre telephone tirade I announced that I wanted to cancel my contract (a request you ignored repeatedly, instead e-mailing incoherent rantings) and find a new host. I then received an e-mail from Jason advising me that the whole debacle was your fault and that he intended to sack you.

Jason said:

Please do not exhange anymore dialogue with Myles as it is a complete waste of time. He clearly needs to find a new line of work as his attitude and unwillingness to learn is is the worst I have seen in my life. I personally wish I had removed him from his duties prior to this event as I know it has caused your problems.

As I said, I will promplty refund your monies and I will personally deal with Myles. I hope this does not reflect Cologroup as a company as the problems are clearly defined by one employee who will no longer be with our company when I return to the office. If you are never willing to give us another chance, I understand.

I will contact you when Myles has been removed, and the new replacements are hired which should be less than 2 weeks. If you stick with your current host for now, and you would be willing to let me redeem our company and make up for your troubles, I would give you the server for 2 months at no fee to you. I hope you understand my sincerity as this experience is very much an embarassment to me and my company.
Can you please explain how this comedy of errors INVOLVING BOTH YOU AND JASON ever eventuated if Jason was not working at cologroup.com and was not the CEO?

Much as I have disagreements with Jay it has really dawned on me how likable a fellow he is compared to some of the absolute C U N T S on this board. To the non-sadists out there my apologies for even answering the imps the only way they learn is the way Saddam learns.

G'nite

Again, we install systems and we have to go find drivers and talks with vendors. Philosohpical arguments about mountains of operating system code are not our task.
Come on, RH is a newbie OS. Get to learning a real OS "Debian"

Then come back and cry. Now go away!

Please I beg of you! Don't say anything to encourage one of Mylse's OS rants. It's worse than listening to one of those TV evangelists!

Thing is if he can't handle a RH install he will never figure out Debian, to much typing

READ. The admin who installed it does RedHat for a living thus he is better than you or I on his os.

A stable high performance machine doesn't come off the store shelf. This isn't a counterstrike server. Glad you made it though the menu commands.

Actually Myles I was under the distinct impression that you personally did at least one of the many failed attempts to install RedHat. And your ongoing attempts to blame the Linux guru merely suggest that even Cologroup's OS "expert" did not have a clue what he was doing.
