The number of people who participate in polls is very limited. Almost always under 5000 people. The particular poll at hand included about 1500 people. That's 1500 people out of 300 million... yeh, I bet the chances of me being picked are great.

Suggestion...do not watch American media. Most enter the military to get benefit of a higher education "The College Fund" or specialized training. Only 10% of the military is Combat Arms.
