The polls on Monday said that 39% of the people polled thought the invasion was going good. That has nothing to do with support.

I don't think things are going the greatest, but I do pledge full support. The militia is stronger and more willing to die than first expected. That throws a few kinks in the chain, but they will get things straightened out.

Hell, I swear they've been 50 miles to Baghdad since Monday. I would assume the halt is for various reasons: a) storms, b) supply lines need more strength, c) the South needs more stability before pressing on and risking an assault from the various soldiers, and d) new strategies are being thought out to avoid mass civilian casualties.

The number of people who participate in polls is very limited. Almost always under 5000 people. The particular poll at hand included about 1500 people. That's 1500 people out of 300 million... yeh, I bet the chances of me being picked are great.
