    Streamate WHOIS compliance

    Hello,

It has come to our attention that your partner site with Streamate.com is out of WHOIS compliance. Please change the Admin, Tech and Registrant WHOIS to the following:

    Name: Domain Manager
    Organization: ICF Technology, Inc
    Street: PO Box 21508
    City: Seattle
    State: WA
    Postal code: 98111
    Phone: +1-206-374-0374

Please email back once this has been completed or you need help.

    Thanks,

Saw a thread a while ago about this, but I can't find it....

There is no trick, it's a processing compliance requirement for whitelabels.

        Updatezzz

        *Hi thereâ?¦
        Weâ??re actually referring to domain.com as wellâ?¦.

Similar to the whitelabel, we have to update the partnersite as well. Hereâ??s some info weâ??re sending to those who need to update their info:

*I was forwarded your message from the Partner Site team to try and help explain everythingâ?¦
The reason the who is information needs to be updated is because of processing compliance. We process the joins for the memberships on our merchant account and this is a requirement. Youâ??ll see that we have over 2000 whitelables of Streamate all doing the exact same thing through Cambuilder.com (our affiliate program). This is essentially a formality as we have no interest in the domain, or ownership and at any point you decide, we can change it back. However, without it being changed, we are unable to process memberships going forward.

I can assure you that every account with this partnersite integration implemented has done (or is doing) the same thing.

We are not asking you to sign anything over ultimately... Basically this system has been in place since the beginning for Whitelabels, but we did not have it in place for partner site integration. So currently we're working to update these things properly. Again, we have NO interest in the domain etc, this is to maintain the ability to process joins. Shawn is aware of this system as he's aware of our processing requirements as well.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me.

        Thanks
        Liz

Whether it's PPS, REVS or PPL (or any other program for that matter) should be irrelevant.

            What is your question, OP?

What they are asking you in regards of whitelable and whois is legit.

Just built a webcam white label with them. I have no problem switching the whois like they asked, the domain is still under my control and I'm using revshare

The only whois detail that is not pointing at them is the email address.

I had to remove my privacy settings to change the details to what they were asking for and enter a regular email address (instead of a proxied one).
