I think the gov this time around wanted to give the press as much access as possible in an attempt at proving how altruistic their actions are.

Hasn't he taken the hint yet? Prayer removed from schools, in (CENSORED) we trusted, one country under (CENSORED). The country is far too diverse in people and their beliefs for him to be pushing his views upon a whole country. Last time I checked the Christian population weren't the majority.

For the last hour+ CNN, Headline News, MSNBC and FoxNews have all had the exact same thing.

Like they're afraid they'll miss something and the other network will have it live.

I was extremely annoyed the other morning when I went to turn on Clifford the big red dog for my daughter and there was nothing but crap about the war. I finally had to find the PBS channel to let her watch Dragon Tales (Thankfully she likes that show or I would have been slapping a DVD into the player for her). There IS such a thing as overkill.

another chanell to seek refuge on when you get tired of seeing the green glow... TLC, watching reruns of Trading Spaces beats the piss out of the same ol vulture watch coverage...

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind watching some current event footage of good combat coverage...makes me reminisce from the first Desert Storm when I was over there...but I can only watch the same boring view for so long LOL...

I keep the CNN coverage on in the background because to be honest, since 9/11 I've been a news whore. Suddenly the world interests me. Just wish I had a way to switch channels in my office (I grab my tv feed from another room via RCA cables) otherwise I'd flip between BBC and CNN. Amazing how much of a different slant you get on BBC but I hate english accents so it's hard to listen to for long

Watching this makes me even more adament in the personal convinction that I'd never want to take part in a war.
