Semi Exclusive Content

We are going to be selling the content we shoot for ourselves on a semi exclusive basis.

You buy a three month semi exclusive license, there will be two per set. For the first three months you have it on your sites, up to 10.

Then at the end of three months we put it up on our content store and start to sell it as normal.

Here are the prices.

Three Month Semi Exclusive License
Solo girl
Single set $100

Two girls
Single set $120

Boy & Girl
Single set $150

We will email all those interested with the sets as soon as they are shot, those taken will not go on the Content Store for three months.

What do you think?

If you are interested email us at paul_eva at paulmarkham.com or ICQ us.

Maximum two licenses per set.

This is why I'm asking for your ideas.

I've been thinking about this overnight and there are more possibilities.

Maximum of six full lifetime licenses, do what you want with the content on as many sites as you wish.

Maximum of four full lifetime licenses, do what you want with the content on as many sites as you wish. But share the license with the magazines we sell to.

This is your opportunity to buy semi exclusive content, you get to see the contet before you buy and you know it is not going to be blasted all over the Internet. Plus you can give it to affiliates.

Yet it will not cost you that much more than a normal set.

For us it works well, in that it improves our cash flow.

If you did not now Paul owns the patented idea of selling exclusive, non-exclusive and soon also semi-exclusive content. All content providers pay a fee to him for using his ideas and we are great full for his great visions on this and we all pay our fee to him with joy..... Don?t you?

Paul where do I apply for a License to use this new patent of yours?

This has been tried since the beginning of the web content business. Exclusive licenses, semi- exclusive licenses.

I've tried selling somebody else's content for them, I'm talking about some primo photo/video content on a semi-exclusive basis, as semi-exclusive as possible, the seller is only making the content available to ONE other web company and his own of course. What I've found - people who buy exclusive content want exactly that - they aren't interested in sharing with anybody else.

Looks to me like it's either totally exclusive or licensed, people who have the money to invest in exclusive content really want exactly that - exclusivity and total ownership of the content.

What sued people for stealing my contet?

YES

I believe that in doing this I'm protecting myeself and my clients. The situation about free stuff and too many sites would change over night if the stealing of content was stopped. Unfortunately few really care enough to do something about it.

I know this is not a new idea and Prteben I've already registered the idea and will be contacting all those violating the contract.

The problem is simple. A lot of people want exclusive but cannot afford it. Unless they find some guy who will shoot it for $120 a set. And if this guy is any good, he will soon realise he could get more money for his work, shoot less and earn the same money.

So by doing it this way he gets three months "Limited Distribution" (all right ebus_dk)

Here is another twist.
A lot of people do not want a set that is on 250 other sites, so how about selling 6 licenses and then no more? Again giving the set "Limited Distribution".

Actually we have done something similar to this ... we have what we call GOLD sets, which only will be sold 25 times with a restricted License that do not allow any TGP postings etc at all ....... so that webmasters can buy content for their paysite and avs sites and for a reasonable price and still get some kind of semi-exclusivity.

Hi Preben

Not really, going for a jacuuzi in the gazebo first.

Just seeing if there are different ways to deliver the content, everyone screams that they do not want content that is over exposed. But the other side of the coin is to shoot like we do costs money. So the limited distribution or semi exclusive suits everyone fine.

Just need to know what webmasters want.
