2016 is the best time for online porn

People keep saying ten years or so ago was best.

True, in the regards that if people wanted to see porn films, often they had no option but to join a site as this was before the explosion of porn tubes.

Indeed in recent years for those in the UK, we found due to ATVOD many sites closed or moved outside the UK.

However its 2016.

ATVOD are no more.

BUT......

Today things are great for many reasons.

For a start there are more people than ever on the internet, plus they have faster connections.

This has been great for one area of porn. That is webcam, such as Chaturbate.

Technology is so cheap. A few years ago a pro video camera would cost you £3k. Today you can buy a HD camera for under £200. In fact you can for under £1k buy a cinema pro body.

The problem with those who run sites, is many have relied on google (seo's) and affiliates for sales. Many have given up.

Yet now should be the time to be in porn.

BUT....

But you need to see whats going on in the world.

Both USA and UK are producing mainstream porn. The BBC is making shows such as The Tudors (TV Series 2007â??2010) and the USA with Game Of Thrones. This is important because it shows that mainstream is moving (or has moved) to porn.

The trouble is, porn has not moved to mainstream.

What I mean by this, is that 'porn' still sucks.

Porn is often still just amateur. But this is free on porn tubes and such as Chaturbate. Go on most porn tube sites and it's full of free amateur porn. So unless your model(s) are both exclusive and stunning, sales will not be great.

The key is to have amazing content.

By this I mean shoot not tacky or silly content, but content that will make you stop and look.

In other words, make content, that would be good enough to be on TV or the cinema.

Indeed, perhaps now should be seen as the new golden age of porn films.

If you watched 'Boogie Nights', I believe it's in that film that the porn producer says that it's the end of the porn film with the newcomer of the video camera. Yet perhaps this is now the age of the porn film.

The truth is, most people now can shoot home made porn. So if you make this content, then sales will be low when people make it and give it away free.

So the new challenge is the porn film.

This means shooting stunning films.

In other words, if your content can be show by the average chap in the street, then forget it. Give people somthing that most people cannot make.

I think that's what's happening with VR Porn.
Not everyone can make it and demand is growing.

Especially when Samsung Gear and PS4's headset comes out and everyone is using VR. You know people are going to want to put porn on it, and a regular porn tube won't do.

(If you run a tube and put VR porn capabilities on it, go fuck yourself )

Obviously. Ofcom got fed up with constantly overturning ATVOD rulings so it's gone, finito, kaput, no more. What Ofcom themselves will be like to deal with remains to be seen.

It used to be so much easier. Buy a domain name, buy a TGP template and software, and boom, you had traffic pumping through quickly.

Indeed

I did two mistakes (1) not doing tgp's soon enough, and (2) not running my own site soon enough.

Still I see 2016 as brand new opportunities.

In fact its fair to say that its the first time for 7 or so years that I have felt positive.

My advise to anyone now is think new. Forget the past and the old ways of doing things. That's all in the past.

Look forward.

I am just gutted that I am not female and aged 18, because any female aged 18 can easily rake it in on the internet. And she does not even need to be hot.

ya, you can pump a million bucks into the production of a great film - then see it on the tubes and torrents an hour after its released. you won't make that million back.

there is a market for artsy glamour content, of course, but its not what a majority of surfers are looking for. most surfers want the dirty, squirty, fetish, cumshots they can rub one out to while the wife takes the kids to the park.

yes, they will pay for it, if the site works well, it has what they want, and most importantly - IF the surfers know the site exists.

any content sells if you get enough traffic. if you want to make money in 2016, master the traffic. content is the easy part. traffic is king, not content.

ImAspammingWanker.com

The government still control what people watch through the ISP. ATVOD only regulated the free display of hardcore to protect minors. They made no difference to the business.

Yes, you can purchase high quality cameras at reasonable prices, however, you need to be able to use them & create amazing content, which you cannot!

To summarize, you're a spamming wanker, creating this thread to post your link to your shit

Do you not get that.

Thats the point.

Chav sells.

Thats what Damian told you plus others.

If you understood the market you would have gone chav.

Thats your market.

From the very start I had a market as we were making home made vhs porn. it sold like crazy

from the start you were told to do that

but you never did

its why gary your sites do not sell

you blow it

i have told you over and over what to do

its now the no1 search in the uk is 'chav porn'

why do you think i get sales with ease

the sad thing is you do not get it gary

at the moment i have no competition, as i am the only one really doing chav porn

it's you that lives in your own little world. You're not the only one doing chavy style porn. You just can't afford to pay for high quality models

don't you think faketaxi, dirtyukwives, Welcome to MontyCash.TV is another & so many more.. there are lots of chav sites.

The difference is, your site really has very low level quality clips & photos

Technology won't solve the problem. VR, 3D, HD on a movie, show, game that costs $millions to produce using true professionals. Will love VR.

BG porn scenes costing $2,000 in VR will still be crap and not sell well. So can we adopt DVT's solution and start producing great porn to pull people back with VR.

Say $25,000 for a great scene in VR. IMO 1 scene a week won't cut it for long on rebills. 10 will cost $250,000 per month. And need, at a profit of $10 per membership, 20,000 new members or rebills a month to break even. Play with the figures how you like, mine are examples to show the bottom line is it will cost too much.

Which is why so many were forced into amateur content.

You missed the essential and most important element. Get content people wanted. No one bought anything because they could see an empty TGP template.

It was hard to do that in 2000, I don't expect it's possible now.

To get traffic, one has to buy it or use SE traffic. If the surfer doesn't like what's on offer. He moves on to a site that does offer him what he wants.

Real amateur porn is great, I was shooting it in the 1980s. But it's not easy to shoot and by no means "any content" or not great.

theories are silly, especially if its based on 16 year old knowledge. we have a whole network of site owners producing real data every day.

start slinging porn again, then make some theories.

Yeah, you can sell basically any content if you know what you're doing and get the right traffic.
It's not really about having the best content, just the best content at the time the surfer sees it and just good enough for him to want to see more. These are impulse sales. Finishing means they're done, not that a free video will make a sale just because it's better content. Why do you think everyone cuts out the cumshot? (Or requires it in the video like some tubes or people who prefer to have it in who are trying to get the most video views, but that's a different CPM game..)
Also, it's more about presentation. ie. Good handwritten posts on a matching theme with clear links to join vs RSS fed blogs make in bulk.

I can go on, but you get the point..

Agreed. It all comes down to getting the right traffic. So putting up crap content won't achieve that. Buying traffic to throw at crap content won't achieve that.

An advert on a Tube site costs $4 per 1,000 clicks. $40 buys 10,000 and with great content it will result in a sale on a site with the right content. Or lose the person with the wrong content $40.

Quote:

That more or less says what I'm saying. The content Google sees has to be good, the content the surfer sees when he lands has to be good, the content has to be good to create the impulse. Even the lack of a cumshot will get better results.

Getting traffic has never been easier, selling to it has never been harder. Because they don't have the right content. So most resort to throwing out content and testing if its good or not. With bad content, they say they couldn't get enough traffic. The problem was they couldn't get the right content.

Good content improves traffic. Bad content damages traffic. You can throw the exact same traffic at two sites, one with good content and one with bad. Which one will win? Same niche, style.

plsureking your stats will prove that. Now the job is to work on getting the sites with the better content duplicated. Because they get enough traffic to convert.

If you really believe your stance, buy some content from me and see how it works. We can do a deal and you have no excuse of it being not the right content. You only have to find the right traffic.
