ya, you can pump a million bucks into the production of a great film - then see it on the tubes and torrents an hour after its released. you won't make that million back.
there is a market for artsy glamour content, of course, but its not what a majority of surfers are looking for. most surfers want the dirty, squirty, fetish, cumshots they can rub one out to while the wife takes the kids to the park.
yes, they will pay for it, if the site works well, it has what they want, and most importantly - IF the surfers know the site exists.
any content sells if you get enough traffic. if you want to make money in 2016, master the traffic. content is the easy part. traffic is king, not content.
