Are they dead or assumed dead? CNN said they sent out search and rescue looking for survivors. Little early to assume dead then, no?

uh we're supposed to believe what? 5 times as many people have died from "accidental" helicopter crashes as actually people dying in battle?...something doesnt sound right
whats that? 19 dead from helicopter crashes and 2 killed while fighting?..or am I wrong?

If I remember correctly the numbers from the last war were similar.

I agree that ratio does sound a little fishy to me as well.

I think we are not getting a lot of information about the casualties.

but then again they need to do this to hold public support for the war.

Why are there so many helicopter crashes?

The same thing happened when the US went after the Taliban in Afganistan. Seemed like helicopters kept on crashing all the time.

Yup this is just a big pile of bullshit
2 uk helicopters crash into each other over persian gulf

Either Amercans and British are blind and none can pilot a helicopter, either there is a big fucking battle about which they are not talking about, which is prolly is happening right now, and US/British troops geting a damage

Military helicopters seem to crash very often. Even in peace time. I saw on one of the news channels yesterday some military guy say that it's sad but he's come to expect these helicopter crashes from time to time, and that alot of them are over 30 years old.

I remember a while back they grounded all the ah-64 apaches for a while after a few crashed.

Helicopters on those grand canyon trips from vegas crash all the time - perhaps there is some big war going on there with the 'injuns' and we are not being told the truth?

Thousands of helicopter flights are going on now in the gulf around the clock.. shit happens.

Helicopters are dangerous.. end of story.

This shit happens every war, the US & British lose more troops to heli crashes or friendly fire than they do from the enemy shooting back.

what is it so far.

2 soldiers killed in fighting
12-18? killed in accidents
