it's prety easy to elimonate most of these people. lets go down the list in reverse alphabet order.

Shap: nice enough guy and possible 3rd runner up but didnt he leve the industry a few years ago? is this still supposed to be an industry forum?

Roald: active member of gfy but i dont remember him doing anything that would make him noteworthy for gfy hall of fame

Paul Markham: is this for real? the guy hasn't done much but troll and bitch about how cheap peopler are other then magazines. he was given his own forum here and accomplished nothing with it. didn;t he win troll of the year once?

L-Pink: i've seen the name but again nothing hall of fame worthy that i know about

Joey Gabra: who? doesn't even show up as a gfy member and they made it to the final round?

Brad Mitchell: most of us love brad and there are plenty of awards he deserves but gfy hall of fame is not one of them. vote for his hosting company or add a new bar tab of the year category in 2016 becuse hes a shoein for that

I was offered the same forum years before Paul. I may fuck around here a lot but those who know me are fully aware that I consider myself a hack photographer, though I'd be happy to go toe to toe with Paul any day of the week. If the HoF is purely for achievements of being nice on GFY. Then as you say I'm a poor contender.

The industry did pay crap for content, sorry for reminding you of that. The forum was created after I retired and I had no need to work it. Then ruined by the troll of all trolls.

If it's awarded for achievements outside GFY and in many levels of porn, then I'm a good contender. My 50th year selling porn and not kissing ass.

And who turned the forum into a cluster fuck? Look a the posts from the fuckers ensuring it was nothing but a failure. Still by then I was retired while those guys are mostly gone and one unemployed living on State benefits.

We are both hack photographers, whether you're a better hack photographer than me isn't what counts. Sales are.

By finding brand new girls, shooting 100 pictures in different poses that were the right ones. Made far more per set than photographers who were far better than me. Yes, it was that simple, just pretty brand new girls. The most amazing thing about those days is few ever picked up a phone and asked an editor what they wanted.

We were able to stay away from producing exclusive content for others, because of the success. The stores made more money than most producing exclusive could dream of.

The warnings that producing crap content, to give away for free, was killing sales. Was rubbing up people, producing crap content, to give away for free, killing sales, the wrong way. Now with the ultimate in free porn sites. Most of those people are gone.

It's the fucking GFY Awards for Christ's sake. In this case it's specifically the GFY Hall of Fame. Here you are asking for a community award from an industry you claim to have left before this community was even started. Guilty as charged. My vision and ability to adapt were wider than many here.

I did try shooting a few scenes for the exclusive market but didn't like the idea of losing money. Even tried my hand at the affiliate thing, must admit not good not interested in working that hard for so little return.

Not starting a paysite in 1998 was my biggest mistake. Too busy going after the easy money that was laying on the table.

When "New School" paid the right money, I was all over it. As I said 20 x $60 non-exclusive + $3,000, is so much better than 1 X $300 exclusive. Still some will keep blaming me for going after the better money.

If the award is for Fame on GFY, Shap, Baddog, JFK, Juicy, and others, are far above us.
