First of all, actions are not the same as speech. If I punch you in the face, that is not "free speech", simply because it isn't speech. Sorry but there's other issues such as the World Bank and the WTO. I can't speak for all the protesters but us activists weren't exactly dormant before the US was planning to attack Iraq. Being that we're American we focus on stopping the spread of capitalist greed throughout the world. Recently the fight against globalization has taken a back seat to the war protests.
