Same thing is happening to me sadly. I have emailed Mike a ton of times, he directs me to Crystal, I sent the emails to Crystal and got nothing back. What can i do????
I cant believe they dont pay anymore.... Naughty America has built a good reputation and a brand in American porn...

I can absolutely understand that. Certainly, it's not anything I can explain either. FWIW, that earlier time was the last time we were paid as well, so several months ago. To be fair, I've also not contacted them about the current outstanding payment yet, so it's entirely possible that our next experience may not be as productive. That said, they've never given me a reason to doubt payment was forthcoming. Hopefully they get caught up with everyone.

even if you pull links, you are still owed your rebills if you're on revshare, I can imagine in FreeOnes' case that could be substantial

It's obvious where the money is going. Here is how the scam works,

1. Get affiliates to drive customers to their site buying memberships.

2. Screw the affiliates

3. Use the money from screwing the affiliates to hire talent to shoot more scenes.

Rinse and repeat.

It's a perfect business model for scammers. They never spend a dime on of their "own money" as the affiliates money is the one that allows them to keep hiring talent to shoot more scenes and pay for production costs.

This is a major issue with a few programs I've had to pull links for.... the rebills keep coming so what started as a couple hundred spiraled into a couple thousand. Times a lot for NA.

assuring me that Crystal will be sending me the payment.
Then a few more days passed. Until this moment no payment has arrived.

The good news is that now im getting a reply to the emails.
The bad news is that the $ has not been paid, yet. I still dont lose the hope.

Saying me the payment was sent.

BUT... not via check or via paypal (thats the methods i asked for)

instead it was sent via WESTERN UNION...

they sent me a PDF proof of the western union.

THE PROBLEM for me is:

Im not in the USA, thats why i was asking for a check or paypal,

I have a USA address yes, but is simply a courier address, they just re-ship
all to me once a month. Now the western is going to that address and to my name.

What can i do? theres no way i can cash a western union sent there, right?

You might want to call your local Western Union at the number on the website. Give them the MTCN number that they gave you. Explain and that your id matches the name etc. Worth a try. Bizarre they would send it Western Union though.

do they have your bank account number? because then they just use Western Union to wire it to your bank account, that's what they did for me in the past year
you can send international wires with WU for a fraction of what banks charge

Unfortunately now that its time to get paid out I see this thread. I'm in the same boat as many of you, weeks without a response from Crystal.

And on top of that my 'backup' program Pimproll just banned me.

Has the adult industry always been like this?

Whenever I look at my Nifty Stats, which are constantly declining anyway, I subtract 25% from the total under the assumption that I ultimately wont get paid.

I've been an affiliate for a decade and I would say that the vr porn sponsors seem to be the worst. I suspect it's down to VR porn growth flatlining and not skyrocketing as everybody hoped for (or prayed for). There are still a handful of very good sponsors with excellent trustworthy affiliate support - like Badoink - but I don't think it can be a coincidence that some of the worst sponsors around at the moment for not paying or scamming are in the vr porn sphere.

BTW, I personally haven't had any problems at all with PimpRoll and consider them one of the best.

The thing with Naughty Revenue is I can't believe they are scammers, it's just perhaps utter mindblowing stupidity at the top. You have their CEO Ian Paul giving interviews every week to the mainstream press about how VR porn is the future, even being the only porn company to be allowed to showcase at the CES, they are shooting more new scenes each week than anyone, and yet they don't seem to have a clue that all this is worthless in the longrun without the support of affiliates, especially their VR porn affiliates. Even just hiring a part-time intern to help out Crystal with accounts or affiliate management might make the difference between Naughty Revenue being a billion dollar company in ten years time or going bankrupt in 5 years.

If you Google 'VR porn', Naughty America are nowhere to be seen (apart from being mentioned in the mainstream tech articles that appear in the rankings below the tube sites). They haven't been paying VRPorn.com, which is number 1 on Google, and likely to remain so there or thereabouts for years. What the hell is the point of spending tens of thousands of dollars on media campaigns when whoever organizing the affiliate side of things is so dense as not to understand the importance of at least keeping your biggest affiliates happy???

It's clearly not a manpower issue.

If it was, once they get to you, they would pay out the full amount owed.

But they're always paying out only smaller fractions. (Unless they only owe you a few hundred dollars to begin with.)

I was able to speak with Glen and get things sorted out reasonably quickly. It ended up being a misunderstanding.

I agree with many of the other comments here. Besides this relatively minor blip Pimproll has been fairly solid for me as well. And has been converting very well.

I too have a hard time believing a well-known company like Naughty America is trying to scam users, but it seems like there is something fishy going on. Hopefully some of you bigger guys can get paid out! I'd be going nuts if I was owed $60k!
