Notwithstanding, that too great of income disparity is a social problem. The problem is there are a lot of people with obsolete or legacy occupational skills.

Workers that were unskilled or semi-skilled could earn a reasonable standard of living 30 years ago in the USA. But now they cannot and we all benefit by foreign goods that are less costly -- except the displaced workers. What would you rather have: A TV that costs $150 in today's inflated money or a TV that cost $370 in 1978 money ($1,352.41 2015 money)?

Obama is a good president and has done a lot of good things so far, so the republicans have no argument against him. Therefore the only way to win is to demonize him. They try to paint him as a foreigner, or as a muslim, or as someone with a secret agenda, or as someone who wants to "take away your freedoms", take away guns, rights, etc etc.

The amount of endless incredible bullshit thrown around is insane, and its no wonder why some people are so confused or believe the wrong things.

Our govt. is closing in on a 19 trillion dollar debt. We are involved in never-ending warfare. The NSA is spying on us. The number of people on foodstamps is at an all time high.

That is what the politicians have done for us over the last 60 years or so.

What is your suggestion? Elect yet another one of them? Listen to them lie their asses off in the election and just shrug our shoulders and say: "That's just the way it is" ?

Pointing it out doesn't mean a thing. What matters is this: Are you going to vote for someone who will actually do what they say? Or are you perfectly happy with being lied to and knowing full well they are lying to you?
