Mr. Trump VS Chicago Tribune

This has more substance than "debates" or talking with bimbo journalists.
when you speak with smart people you can have a nice discussion:

May be interesting watch for those who thinks that Trump can only shout his slogans etc.

By the way - considering buying Art of the Deal book - still good/actual being released in 1987?
Business climate is way different now, of course core principles of the deal is universal

Just want to make sure it is useful and not some watered down motivational book.

Sun Tzu: Art of War
Musashi: Book of five rings

great example of books wrote long ago (hundreads years) and still being used in business
so i can't see why book wrote in 1987 can't be still valid ;)

should he actually become president he is going to find congress as impossible to deal with as obama. business & politics are entirely different animals. in business, everyone wants to make a deal. its win-win. Thats not politics at all. When one side wins, the other loses in politics. there are strong interests opposing the Donald getting anything done.

first, the dems will likely reverse the repub playbook & simply say No to anything he wants like repubs did to obama. second, his economic views (trade wars, border walls) are opposed by the leaders of his own party. while he's trashing transpac, his parties leaders are aligning with obama to try & pass it. So he's gonna struggle to make deals with the leaders of his own party who are for sale to the kochs.

Trumps best bet at success is to try & build a bi-partisan coalition of moderates on both sides that have the balls to ignore their respective party leaders, who will do anything to prevent working with the other side.

This is why Trump is a disappointment. He was a Democrat and is now a Republican.. He could of played what is left of the middile of the road politicians and tried to be moderate. Instead he went wing bat to the extreme..

I do agree though, in the small chance he could be elected, he would find he has no friends in Congress from either party at this point..

Food for thought, trump has renegotiated multi-bilkion dollar deals with 100s of banks and investors, I would think that skill translates well inside the beltway. Very well even.

I didn't have an opinion on him really other than thinking he clearly needed a speech writer. Now, after watching that video, i like him. He comes off as very human and normal and not as someone talking in well rehearsed sound bites like a fake asshole.

Trump cant win, he doesn't lie enough. His points on China are spot on. The USA needs a guy like this to run things, straight shooter and with no teleprompter.

Cause when you're a celebrity
It's adios reality
You can act just like a fool
People think you're cool
Just 'cause you're on TV
I can throw a major fit
When my latte isn't just how I like it
When they say I've gone insane
I'll blame it on the fame
And the pressures that go with
Being a celebrity

it can translate well when the people on the other side of the table want to negotiate. the beltway is hyperpartisan in part cause of the lobby cash, part cause of the gerrymander. those types of obstacles do not negotiate, at all. the party leaders are extremists & have nothing to gain with compromise. its not donald dealing with dems that worry me, its the nutters in the GOP. they really are insane, not republican at all. Dems will deal. they gave away the public option, for example. repubs shut down the govt when they dont get what they want. those fuckers blocked 911 healthcare funds for godssakes.

its going to take something miraculous for the Donald to accomplish what he says he wants to do. no dem is going to vote for deportations, its not going to happen. no repub is voting for protectionism. the GOP is saturated with koch puppets. Trump will fail negotiating with them. you cant bargain with extremists whether its terrorists or pols-for-sale.

i just want him to piss those people off... put a moderate in the supreme court, that would be fresh.

Once Trumps "plans" start coming out (if there are actually any to go with his lip service) -- we're going to find them nothing more than any schlub off the street who is not well versed in the nuances and intricacies of domestic or geopolitical matters. Basically like your uncle Frank talking shit from his couch...

"Yeah, build a wall! that'll keep those dirty job stealing Mexicans out!"

"we should hit ISIS in their oilfields and cut off their money, then put some boots on the ground".

Actually, these are close to things he's already said. A real fucking genius.

Why you libtards like to twist people's words that much?
Because otherwise you would not paint "evil" republicans badly?

He did not say anything like that, in fact he said that he likes Mexican workers and hires them.

He was mostly talking about criminals that come illegally. And not all of them are even mexicans.

Sure, as damage control after he called Mexicans a bunch of rapists and murderers, and some other not so eloquent things. You forget that part did you? It's like when someone around here acts racist then says something like "I know lots of black people."

That's great, he sees them as people he hires to do his work for him. Why would you even understand what a douche he is?

His full immigration plan released today, co-wrote with Sen Sessions.

Bronco67 your posts sound like a typical low-information person. You are misrepresenting what Trump said completely.
Can't understand why you need to do that if you are so sure of what you are saying.

Also all the things done in politics are "deals". You hear them outright say so.

If you want a Senator or Congressman's vote you have to offer them a "deal" (pork barrel spending for their cronies in their state or district).

I'm pretty sure that Trump can cut deals better than any bureaucrat ever could.

I think the talk of him being unable to work with Congress isn't valid.

Now Pres. Obama? He was absolutely unable to cut any deals. And it's been reported all over the media that he didn't even bother to make phone calls to Senate and House leaders. That he is aloof.
And that would be because he never was an executive at all in anything that he ever did. He never ran a business or any form of govt. He was always in the legislative branch.

And the result was he never got any deals done and his supporters screamed the Republicans were saying "No" to everything. But what really happened is he never negotiated a deal on anything.

Trump would do just fine in that position. He's an expert at it.

Well if he is anything like in the documentary I posted below, he is certainly the president the USA deserves, but not the president that the world deserves.

If only the USA had a huge wall built around it, and they kept their US shit inside this wall, I would be praying for Trump to rule the USA for the next 100 years

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fofz08QW_t8

The guys seems like the most underhand player ever who would fuck over any business associate over anything at all, he does not give 2 shits about poor people and 3 shits about anything else than his own money and power.

What is amusing to me is that people actually consider him as a serious candidate he went bankrupt like 4 times

Keep watching his self promo bullshit LOL

to be fair. obama never had anyone to negotiate with. its well known fact the repubs decided in 09 their only strategy is to oppose anything obama did. its not fair to say he did not want to work with the other side. he did reach out early on. His healthplan was invented by mitt romney for crying out loud, supported by gingrich until the oero cookie co-opted it. there comes a point, when you talk to a wall, when you give up. so he golfs a lot today.

i never saw a repub do anything bold like drop the public option. rather, they stopped 911 healthcare bill for a petty partisan issue. your hate of obama to me is somewhat not even-handed.

i hope you are right. trump will work with people who will want to deal. he has amply demonstrated no allegiance to either side. i just wonder what congress would do with him. its a big fat wildcard, esp with the GOP leaders, who hate him.

i've figured that it will be a jolt to the politicians that get them out the rut of roadblock, it just doesn't seem likely that they would gradually segue back to getting shit done. it may be that Trump is that jolt. otherwise, it's gonna be an invasion (from outer space)/some huge massive disaster shitstorm that breaks all the deadlock.

at the end of the day though, i see a kasich/rubio ticket winning it all. i'm at 70% on that right now. dems are out of it. i figured Hills was in trouble months ago, now that she stalled for months, and lied about emails combined with the # of classifed emails being found on her server exploding into double digits, it's a certainty she's out of it, it's not the emails/benghazi, it's the cover up that truly doomed her.

where did I rationalize genocide? I put in to perspective the 8000 people serbs killed with the 6.000.000 the USA killed...lets do the math:

serbia (that did not take part in the war but you are still accusing it LOL) 9million people live in serbia and they killed (did not kill but that does not stand in your way LOL) 8000 people....thats a "genocide rate" of 0.0013e/capita (even though serbia was not involved in the war at all and everybody on the planet agrees with this )

USA 6.000.000 dead civlians on a population of 350.000.000 = 0.01714

now basic math says you guys are 12.8x more genocidal

you make such great arguments! you should be able to beat the current US debate champions them crazy black girls on meth LOL

oh, and here's the link to the OPINION article that guesses the 6 million dead number you like to parade. unfortunately for you, the article provides absolutely ZERO evidence backing up that ridiculous claim while subtly mentioning the number is pulled out of the author's ass.

dindu, the USA has killed nobody at all ok?

other sources have it at 30.000.000 LOL

but I am sure the USA has killed nobody at all, with the more bombs than all WW2 combined just in vietnam, the 36 countries you invaded for """""""""""""""""freedom"""""""""""""""" and lets not mention keeping billions of people under economic sanctions whenever it suited the US mafia government, I am SURE the report is exaggerated LOL

id say that the indirect death toll from all the US foreign policy bullshit is easily in the 10-s of millions of civilians....

of course whitey didnu hand wash washes all responsibility off of you war mongers

continue to amuse me with your denial LOL you are the worlds no.1 terrorists and you are what is wrong with the world today

That's funny. You admire a fake character like Donald Trump -- who is only saying what he thinks Republicans want to hear (turned up to 11) -- and I'm the low information person?

I've listened to him speak, and he says a whole lot of nothing and repeats himself over and over. You know repeats themselves multiple times in span of a few seconds to get their point across? A person whose beliefs are not congruent with his speech. He'll bail once he gets too far because he's playing a character and all you suckers are falling for it.

I was just watching an interview with Carly Fiorina being asked what she feels about vaccinations, and parents vs schools rights when the parent is anti vax. She gave a well measured, informed, articulate answer that made perfect sense.

Donald Trump would first wonder how he's supposed to feel about vaccinations as it relates to furthering his polling numbers, then say something like "Vaccinations? Let me tell you sumpin bout vaccinations....I love the vaccinations. Maybe some people don't like vaccinations but I love vaccinations. I'll be the best president of vaccinations ever".

carli fiorina has been consistently voted as one of the worst CEOs ever, in the history of business. she destroyed Hewlet-packard and laid off 10s of thousands of people to do that.

and i'm not trying to compare her to Trump.

I'd like him more if I didn't know as many people who did businesses with his companies and had bad results. It's easier to like the douche you don't know than to like the one you do know ;)

Oh believe me I know that. She's a witch.

But at least she can put an intelligent sentence together.
