It's a simple mapping between an array of link points and symbols.

I'll give you a few hints:

Hint #1 Part of the way it works has to do with the fact that every time you "Try Again" the numbers are assigned different symbols.

Take a guess and I'll give you another hint.

it took me three trys to figure it out, guess and checking different theories.

Yeah, its cuz the numbers themselves are on the flash thing, so each time you refresh they get a new symbol, and there is always 1 symbol that is at all the numbers that you could concievablly be thinking of after doing the math.

Cool little trick though.

Do you notice that every possible solution to "add the numbers together and subtract that from the total" leaves you with a multiple of 9?
