I got mine earlier this week and set it up last night. The voice recognition is really incredible. The system is very good at picking out your questions and hearing you through other noise, like music.

This should be a lot of fun. I'm very curious to see what functionality they add over time.

Amazon struck out on the Fire Phone, but this is going to be a winner.

My parents and my kids' mom are supposed to be getting them, but I'm not sure that they've arrived.

The initial half price deal was appealing.

I think it's a great idea and I just don't trust listening devices like this not to be hacked. Same with my phone and phone camera.

Do I have anything to hide? Absolutely not, just freaks me out knowing a stranger could be listening or watching. Is that weird?

My father in law was going to get one and I told him he should pass. It is a novelty item by a company that's an online retailer. It is unlikely to get traction and Amazon will drop support for it I predict or just let it languish with no real updates. A guy I know thought getting a Google Glass was a great idea and then a few months later Google announced they were stopping the project because no one really cared for the device.

Sure I do but those devices are not always on and actively "listening" to my conversations as this device is. Do a little research on how this works AND some of the future uses they have planned for it.

Anyone who got in the Glass program and didn't realize that it was a beta test, is an idiot. Google Glass tech is far from dead.
