i have to disagree. people who got work done at the show(s) and put together deals certainly recall the things that went right. and I'm not sure a drunk doper acting like a child has much to do with those sorts of things.

Maybe he hasnt seen me since ive lost 50 pounds. 6ft 2 and 230 isnt that fat. Just lighly chubby. Oh yes it has. I remember a story of a huge player/sponsor at the very first industry show get totaled and busted his head kicking a showerhead at a webmaster suite.

People get drunk and wasted like Forest stated, since the very first show. I've seen people pass out, seen people throw up, even seen one or two fights. It's tapered off as the industry matured, but it still happens, and I don't see how it surprises anyone at this point.

Shows back in the day had shit like this all the time. One example was Wiseman throwing all of this balcony furniture off a high floor at the Diplomat into the pool. Someone could have been seriously hurt or even killed

I remember stuff like this at the vegas shows in the early 2000's

A couple I recall: A fight at the poker tourney in Universal City & a brutal KO at the Calabasas Country Club during a Webmaster Golf Tourney.
