Here?s a timeline of exactly what happened inside the Germanwings plane before it crashed

Here’s a timeline of exactly what happened inside the Germanwings plane before it crashed - Business Insider

Ok,so something does not add up. We thought that he locked out the other pilot and then started to go down.
This timeline suggests that it all stated happening +-20 minutes (see 9:30 and 9:53 marks) before the other pilot was locked out?

The headlines now allege that the pilot purposely crashed the plane ...

Quote:
In an extremely rare and shocking revelation, a French prosecutor made the accusation Thursday that a Germanwings pilot deliberately flew his Airbus A320 into the side of a mountain. Crash investigators have ruled in a handful of past cases that airline pilots deliberately crashed their planes.

Deliberate plane crashes are extremely rare
Suicidal pilot ... that is scary in public transport and always fatal in aircraft. If this is true, Germanwings will be bankrupted by the lawsuits to follow.

the times in that article do not say the same as they said in the press conference - i rather wait for media that is closer to the investigation than some website in Malaysia

Since when is mass murder with malice 'nothings'?
An employer is held responsible for his employees acts while he is working.

Where the hell did I say that murder was nothing?
I was talking in general about US style when they sue everybody and their dog for everything. Fall on the pavement - sue the city etc Fall in the restaurant - sue the restaurant for bad floors etc etc Seriously the phrase "I sue" is probably one of the most popular phrases in US.

As for this murder - germanwings have nothing to do with it, it was the isolated doing of one man. That was my point.

He was their employee. They read his resume and decided to hire him. Are you honestly thinking it's not on them as a company? You honestly can not be that stupid.

If it comes out that this man was not mentally fit to have been a commercial pilot, would your opinion change?

if it comes out true - that he interrupted his training for a couple of months because of depression and burn out - they will need to reevaluate how medical data is handled.

because the employer cannot ask why he was deemed unfit at that time due to privacy reasons

just when he returned he passed all tests and was considered fit to fly

not really a fault of the airline, more like a flawed law

That's a fair point. I have run into a few issues with that myself. A schizophrenic roommate is not as fun as it may sound. :-)

NewsWires : euronews : Co-pilot suspected of deliberately crashing Germanwings jet

If his employer knew he was a depressive, that would be all the more reason to ground him for public safety. That in itself would make them more culpable -- endangering the traveling public with prior knowledge that something this *could* happen.

Quote:
Setting the plane’s controls for rapid descent was an act that “could only have been voluntary”, Robin said. “He had… no reason to stop the pilot-in-command from coming back into the cockpit. He had no reason to refuse to answer to the air controller who was alerting him on the loss of altitude.”
Fuck his privacy rights -- all 144 passengers and six crew members were killed ... No one can bring them back. Public safety should trump any "privacy rights." If in fact this was an intentional act -- it was an act of mass murder.
