Anyone here using the LG G3.

What are your thoughts on it.

My son has the LG G3 Vigor model. He loves it and never complains about it. The only think that I noticed about it (not sure about the regular G3 model) is that it doesn't have physical home keys and what not. It's all on the screen and software driven. I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing, I just found it weird.

it's a fantastic device, can't go wrong with it. prolly coming with lollipop these days, that's an entirely different topic though! I've been an LG G customer for a while now but opted for the Nexus 6 instead of the G3 about a month ago.

I have one, it's no iPhone, but it's definitely one of the best Android devices you can purchase.

stop looking at the low end android phones, the new droid turbo blows the iPhone away. Heck, so much so apple tried to copy android by finally making that matchbox looking phone bigger...after all the apple fanboys said they would never get a phone that big and so on..no they rave about its size...go figure

No droid phone is as good because it would have apple logo missing

Much less than $199 on contract, which is how most people have bought their phones for the past 20 years? That's $100 a year. I'm not pinching pennies, so no worries. That said, my iPhone was $199 and the G3 was $249 when I got it. Cost isn't an issue for me.

4 months ago the G3 was the top of the line Android phone, save for a Nexus. Motorola's Droid line has always been fraught with issues. I wouldn't touch the Turbo if you gave it away. The G3 is a solid piece of hardware with an amazing screen. It will have Lollipop by next week. I don't regret buying it and use it daily.

But it's still not an iPhone

I hated the Samsung g4, its stuffed in a drawer....the turbo, is hands down the best phone moto has put out...its that the moto X should have been but they went cheap on the hardware hoping to sell it with nifty software

I am talking about off contract and my point was that they better be gooood for that price. They charge top dollar so that is a mandatory/obvious thing to be top quality.

As for contract - calculate what you pay during those 24 months ON TOP of what you would pay for cheaper phone contract. Meaning a minimum payment each month for iphone would be higher than lets say for nokia lumia 520.

I have the G3 Vigor. My only complaint is that the volume buttons and power button are on the back of the phone. so you might accidentally hit them while talking. I don't have a problem with it, but my mom has the same phone and at least one a week she calls and tells me how she missed some calls because she accidentally turned her ringer volume all the way off.
