I used to go to jail every weekend in my college days for one stupid thing or another. I got stopped once and I was so drunk I stumbled getting out of the car, but the cop didn't give me the breathalyzer (this was before drunk driving became a huge felony) and he searched me and missed a joint in my pocket. He put me in the back seat of his cruiser and I stashed the joint under the back seat of his car.

They keep me in a holding cell until I (supposedly) am sober, and this same cop accosts me outside the station, shows me the doobie and tells me to meet him back at my car. I was still so drunk it took me an hour to find the car and he was gone.

My question is: was he going to kick my ass?

And as far as I know, there isn't a "Government Road Construction Crew" or anything of the sort.

Who do you think actually pays to have these roads built? Do you think the Government has been saving it's pennies over the past 8 months in a big piggy bank somewhere so they can gather enough funds to fill in the pot holes in the road on your street?
:eek2

tax dollars pay for it. Tax dollars pay for alot of things. Prisons, crack whores on welfare, schools, killing people in Iraq, etc....

so you think because the government allocates a portion of the tax dollars to road maintenance that you should be completely unrestricted to do anything you damn well please on a PUBLIC roadway?

surely you can't be serious. It's not YOUR road.

Case law tells us what the courts have decided in issues about "right vs. privilege". In the case of Chicago Motor Coach vs. Chicago, 169 NE 22; Ligare vs. Chicago, 28 NE 934; Boon vs. Clark, 214 SSW 607; and in 25 American Jurisprudence (1st) Highways Sect. 163, we find that, "The use of the highways for the purpose of travel and trans-portation is not a mere privilege, but a common and fundamental Right of which the public and the individual cannot be rightfully deprived." So here we have 3 court cases and a quote from one of our basic American law volumes telling us that we have an inalienable right to use the roadways.

okay.... grab a fifth of Jack, some herb, and go out and run your car up to 120 on the freeway and then tell me how your night in jail was when you get back.

This sounds bad -- but if I'm real drunk and walking home... and I see a cop drive by... Sometimes I just imagine these cop cars exploding into a million fragments, flipping over, the wheels blowing up, or just plain bursting into flames. I have a vivid imagination... I'd never want a job where people hate me... The last cop that pulled me over in a speed trap -- try as I might to forgive the guy -- I sometimes hope that he chokes to death on peanutbutter... karma is a bitch... I remember watching a TV special about movie actors that played villians and died of mysterious causes... Never underestimate the power of a large audience :Hollering

I'm thinking right about now George W. Bush has some REAL bad karma... Hell I see his name spray-painted in the streets... in Florida AND New York "Bush is a dickhead" and all sorts of other hateful remarks... Never seen that with any other president...

Mutt 03-15-2003 02:05 AM

how many 'bad' cops did you come across on your force? Cops who would pull over young guys, blacks, minorities and give them a hard time for no reason, smack their head against the patrol car etc. Bad cops who will plant evidence etc.

How many cops should really be fired cuz they are psychologically unfit to hold such a stressful job?

finally, what % of cops love the cock?

Well from my experience the only people that showed and form of hate to me personally were people that I was slapping steel bracelets on =)

I know its different everwhere but I always preety much got a long with the community I worked in.

Baal 03-15-2003 02:09 AM

I lost my licence last week (literally lost it; left it at a store where I got carded), and have an appointment in 3 weeks to get a replacement (freaking DMV)... if I get pulled over and my Lic # is run, it'll show up as being a current legit Lic #, but I only have my old expired licence in my wallet as ID now.
What will happen if I get pulled over while driving and I show my old expired licence and tell the cop why I only have my expired licence in my posession?

MetaMan 03-15-2003 02:09 AM

fuck cops,

they r all bullshit and think they rule the world,

yesterday i matched the description of a stabber or some shit and the cops like let me see your id im like what the hell is this for,
he announces in the entire store " U MATCH THE DESCRIPTION PERFECTLY OF A STABBING "

everyone looks at me im just like fuck off and kept shopping,

police also re sell all the drugs they take, or get high themselves

Mutt 03-15-2003 02:11 AM

that's silly. I don't even have to read the case law. Driving is a privilege not a right. It's why we have age restrictions on driving, limits based on one's sight and health, and of course why the state can take away your driving privileges for being a menace on the road.

I only knew one gay cop and he quit after less than 6 months. He really didn't get a long with everyone..

I saw bad cops.. but never till they were caught.. I never knew what they were doing till it hit the papers.. those that would like plat evidence and shit that is.. there were 3 i knew of..

As far as the traffic stops on minorites and stuff that does happen a lot. Not just minorites though.. Profiling does go on but in my experiece no one race is picked on more than another..

not sure on the % of nuuty cops... we had so many tests and background checks it weeds those out fast.. old timers tens to lose it from time to time but thats in any job really

I remember a story in high-school I think some cop's son was shot at the beach after his girlfriend was raped... Do you ever worry about some guy getting out of prison 15, 20 years later just to cap your wife or your kids? That would suck. I can just imagine some guy for 15 years getting ass raped in his cell thinking I can't wait to get out so at least I can do XYZ to that fucking pig.

obviously tax dollars pay for it, and obviously FBI agents arent going to be out there...

D.O.T. Employees (department of transportation), which whether YOU like it or not, IS a government funded and maintained operation, fixes roads. So actually, to dispell your "public" theory, roads are built and maintained by "Government Road Construction Crews"

Like I said, when there is a pothole in the road your ass ain't out there fixin it are you? But I bet you're one of the millions of people who bitch about them. Who gets bitched to about it? You? Your neighbors? The mexican guy who mows your lawn? No, the government does. Who fixes it? The government does.

Sorry voodoo, the roads you so much want to be "yours" aren't, never have been and never will be.

i dont like cops at all,
and if i could give anyone advice is dont be a witness and dont sign any statements with cops,

ive had bad expieriences being a witness to attempted stabbings and all it does is put ur name in the mix of things where u dont want it to be,

and when it comes down to it no one is there to protect u but U.

I have an inalienable right to vote, does that mean I own the voting machines?

Giving someone rights is not the same as giving them ownership of whatever it is they have been given the rights to

That's cool... I know that technically I shouldn't drive w/o a current licence, but it's not like I'm not currently licenced to drive.

Leave it to the lawyers...

There are some guys that still won't get a driver's license because a social security number is required... and US citizens have the right to *not* have a social security number...

expired license? may as well not have a license at all as far as the law is concerned

they wont even take expired license for liquor/cigarette sales let alone operating an automobile

They can use it to identify him.. if his other is lost..he may get a lecture for still having a expired license on him as in Florida you can only possess one license and must surrender old ones when getting a new one

How can I beat a speeding ticket from a speed trap that financially supports a whole town... it's a real backwards town in the middle of fucking nowhere (Starke, FL) -- I'm pretty sure if I won't get a fair judge -- the whole town depends on this speeding-ticket scam...

The supreme court told the adjacent towns that you can't earn 25% from speeding tickets -- but I guess Starke was exempt for some reason...

The only way to beat it is attack the radar..take the ticket to court and make the operator produce all his radar logs of the checks he did before and after each shift using it..no one keeps those they just hope it doesn't get brought up i court..but if u happen to draw the guy that does keep them your stuck wih the court costs and the ticket

damn we only got 1.5% of each ticket written
