Need some shared adult hosting with ffmpeg and the other stuff thats required to bust out

You will need to get a VPS if you want ffmpeg, i'd recommend DigitalOcean or RamNode.

No shared hosting provide access to command line.
If you don't want to use vps, you can use third part encoding service. Like my service : PinkEncode - Plateforme automatisée d'encodage vidéos - mp4, flv, avi, watermark It work's with xml api. You send video list to encode with your params, and the service comme to take the videos on your ftp, make the encodeing process, send the encoded files on your ftp and send xml alertes with encoding results. You don't need a VPS if you are on a tight budget. You can look for ffmpeg hosting or if you have advanced knowledge of UNIX you can use something similar to dreamhost;
FFmpeg - DreamHost Agreed VPS is a lot easier if you have the knowledge and budget. |
