Hey if that's where the traffic is, as a Program Owner it is my responsibility to explore it on behalf of my business partners and, most of all, affiliates (many of whom are tube sites or people who run tubes).

Don't most tubes give partner accounts for free? This is an interesting business model indeed but seems more suited for affiliates. Or people that don't produce their own content.

I think that there are not many tubes doing this (charging $1 per upload).

But if you think about it....it's not a bad biz model eh? Say you get people to upload a thousand vids a day to your tube = $1k. Not bad....LOL

Or as an additional revenue stream for any tube, lets say $50-$100/month for 30 vids (something like TGP PA's are priced)

Exactly. Might make more sense for a tube, too.

Think about it: a Content Partner uploads a video thart gets....3,457 views (as an example). Sales to the paysite? 0. So the tube gets a shitty video with shitty views, not helping anyone (least of all the paysite owner).

But let's say that video gets 300k views and produces 5 sales. Well worth the dollar.

Maybe the numbers won't add up to profitable for both sides but an interesting concept.

The point with the paid spots is better placement. Most of the ones with free accounts put the content on but not on the main page or only on the bottom of the main page.
